Good News from Colorado
As reported in the Denver Post, the Colorado House of Representatives has removed proposed assisted suicide legislation from consideration. This is great news for opponents of assisted suicide, because this effectively eliminates the prospect of legalized assisted suicide in Colorado during this legislative session; the Senate’s companion bill failed in committee a few weeks ago (see the Denver Post).
In the wake of victories such as this one it is important to remember that we face the possibility of a different outcome in the District of Columbia. Therefore, we continue to ask you to spread the word about the grave dangers posed by D.C.’s so-called Death with Dignity Act.
To be better equipped to engage others about Death with Dignity please see the fact sheet found here. You can also follow us on Twitter and like us Facebook; the more social media influence we have, the better.
As always, thank you for your support and diligence in opposing assisted suicide in the District of Columbia.
